Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Tips for people new to Hong Kong 2004 or just plain silly like me.
- do NOT go shopping for Christmas presents or anything for that matter Xmas Eve unless of course your idea for fun is suffocating with the 4 million other people who seem to be doing the same thing.
-do NOT even do it two, or three days before Xmas it is not much better.
-do NOT presume you can find easy to find (well in Australia) xmas things (the way you want them to look) at the last minute: like wrapping paper, xmas lights etc. Yes they exist but not necessarily the way you want it to look.

On another note:
I live with the two most fastidious (to put it nicely: the expression obessive compulsive does come to mind) wrappers in the world. Yes I'm talking about wrapping xmas presents. Don't Ask!
