It is so cold here right now.

So much for Hong Kongs winter being mild. True its probably a little better than melbournes but its cold.

Cold enough that i need to buy a winter jacket.

Anyway I need to stop writing and start my xmas shopping.

Can't wait to see everyone.

Macau

After weeks of putting it off we finally went to Macau yesterday yes we ventured to another country for all of about 6 hours.

It takes one hour by ferry to get there and costs about $50 au dollars for the trip both ways.

I loved it.

It really is so different to Hong Kong.

For one there is alot less people. I kept joking that it feels like i'm in a country town (a sign i've been living here far too long)

Other highlights included lots of romantic little lanes, lovely old buildings, and mopeds everwhere.

As Kayi put it 'it feels like Europe just full of Chinese people'.

On a side note:

All my xmas cards are on the way and should hopefully arrive before xmas.

We have a small but real xmas tree.

My trip home is arranged for the 4th to 17th jan.

I also have contact lenses

now all i need to find is pants and xmas presents.

oh and a new job (more on that later).
