Just a quick note
to say that i've been relatively busy
trying to organise flights, christmas cards, and looking everywhere for pants to fit my 173cm height (surely there are some tall people in hk somewhere who needs pants) as well as my type of contact lenses, and a decent xmas tree. Not much luck with any of the above so far.
As for my hair is shorter (by a tiny amount) layered at the front and back and the hairdressers equivalent of chocolate brown (hmmm). Overall it wasn't bad but the shorter length or the weather here or something seems to make it quite wavy, not in a attractive kind of wavy either.
I can't wait to come home and see everyone.
I sat with Kayi the other night and talked and talked and talked of Brunswick street and the food.
When am i not talking of food?
So much food i miss. I miss chips (as in french fries), vo cake of course, decent bread (unlike the sweet or tasteless varieties here), apple and mango juice, veg out time, pumpkin, pasties and so much more. I think its time to venture out to Lamma island again to the only western style veg restaurant in the whole place.
Right now i'm off to cook for the first time in about a week. And its certainly going to be something i can't buy in restaurants here.
